Rare Victorian gold mounted souvenir fob medallion of the Atlantic telegraph cable. A slice of the cable is enclosed both sides with glass and mounted in 9 carat gold. Unmarked but tested. Circa 1858. Measures 1” across. Was on ebay, sold for 238,- Euro.
